Shule Fanisi is a product of Ubunifu Technologies. We build the software a school, college or university here actually needs — shaped by NECTA, TRA, the Personal Data Protection Act and mobile money, rather than adapted from a system designed for somewhere else.
Why we build it
The paperwork is not the job
A Tanzanian head teacher spends their evenings adding up a cash ledger, working out divisions by hand, and answering the same question from twenty parents because none of them can see anything themselves. None of that is teaching, and none of it is what they trained for.
Most school software sold here was designed for a different education system and translated afterwards. It does not know what a division is, cannot produce a TRA receipt, has never heard of NSSF, and calls a Form 2 student a “grade 8 learner”. Schools end up keeping the real records in exercise books anyway.
So we built the other thing: one system that speaks the language of the institution using it — primary, secondary, vocational or university — and does the statutory arithmetic itself.

Your data is yours
Isolated per institution at the database, handled under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022, and never used to train anything for anybody else.
Correct before clever
A wrong division or a mis-recorded payment is a real harm to a real family. The deterministic core has to be right before anything is built on top of it.
Every size of institution
A 200-pupil primary school and a university with five faculties run the same product. The small school is not an afterthought — it is on the free tier.
